Terms of Service
Last updated: June 1, 2026
By creating an account or using mint, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
mint is a software-as-a-service platform for field service businesses. It provides job management, AI-assisted invoice and estimate generation, dispatch scheduling, customer records, and related tools. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of any business you represent. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@usemint.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing usage limits.
3. Subscription and billing
Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, access to paid features requires an active subscription.
Subscription
Paid subscriptions are billed at $149 per month. Billing begins when you subscribe and recurs monthly on the same date. All fees are in USD.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not provide refunds for partial months.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you by email. If payment remains outstanding after a reasonable grace period, your account may be suspended until the balance is resolved.
Price changes
We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the subscription price. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use mint to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or harass anyone
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Resell or sublicense access to mint without our written permission
- Use the AI features to generate fraudulent or deceptive invoices
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. AI-generated content
mint uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to help generate invoices, estimates, and related text. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending it to your customers or using it in any legal or financial context.
mint makes no warranty that AI-generated invoices, prices, or descriptions are accurate or complete. The AI is a drafting aid, not a substitute for your own professional judgment.
6. Your data
You retain full ownership of the data you enter into mint — your customer records, job history, invoices, and business information. By using mint, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that data solely to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any data you enter, including your customers’ personal information. You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws (e.g., obtaining consent before sending marketing messages to your customers).
7. Intellectual property
mint, its logo, and the software are our property. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service during your subscription period.
Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share with us may be used to improve the service without compensation or attribution.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINT’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
IN NO EVENT WILL MINT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold mint harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms or if required by law.
Upon termination, your access to the service ends. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination. After 30 days, we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of mint after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
